The Dutch regatta got off to a cold and wet start. A photo finish denied Mary and Penny a first victory in ‘New Girl’ but it was a very encouraging start to this regatta and partnership. the Danish sailor who seemed unbeatable in the Spanish regatta, although still leading, had a similar set of very mixed results.
